“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” is based on a book by the same title, by the author, Barbara Robinson. This fun-filled story is about the efforts of a young woman to produce the church’s annual Christmas pageant when the director of 30 years is hospitalized with a broken leg. Mayhem begins when the 6 Herdman children are cast in all of the leading roles. The Herdmans are described as “the meanest, nastiest children in the history of the world.” Her efforts finally pay off when the Herdmans meet the true Christmas story head on in a heartwarming way that proves to be the highlight of everyone’s Christmas season.
